I recently renewed my Ego4D license, but the email I received contains the same credentials from my first application, which have already expired. As a result, I’m getting a 403 Forbidden error when trying to download the dataset.
Could you please reactivate my credentials or issue new ones?

I am trying to obtain license for Ego-Exo4D, but when I submit the form, I get an email right away with my Ego4D access ID and key, which are the same ones I received the first time a few months ago. And of course, those credentials don’t seem to work when using the CLI. Could this issue be addressed? Thanks a lot!

Hi!
I am currently trying to download the Ego4D dataset, but I am running into issues related to my credentials. I requested a renewal of my access and received the same credentials that worked for me a few months ago. However, when I run the download command provided in the tutorials, I receive the following error:
botocore.exceptions.ClientError: An error occurred (403) when calling the HeadObject operation: Forbidden
How could I fix this issue and download the dataset?

I have been getting the “template_ids must be an array of strings“ error for the past few days. This has now changed to a “Failed to fetch” Error in Chrome and Edge (even after waiting a few minutes and reloading) and a “Load Failed” Error in Safari.
Timestamp is 9:30 CET, 6th of February 2026.
